Everybody gets angry at one point or another. Some people just have bigger anger management issues than others. Practice Confronting Someone

You can work at keeping your cool so you will be calmer talking to someone.

Communicate Clearly

Instead of sporadically yelling at someone about the problems you have with them, try to focus on pinpointing the issues and communicating effectively. If you can highlight the key points in your confrontation, you will be able to resolve matters much faster than you would by yelling alone. It is far more productive to let someone know how you feel than it is to let out all of your emotions at once. Keep the anger in check long enough to prove your point.

Think with a Level Head

You need to think about whether you are trying to get a person out of your life, or if you simply want to get him or her to understand something you have to say. If you want to be rid of the person, then being angry may not impact much if you do not turn violent. If you want to have a discussion though, you will need to stay calm long enough for the person to hear what you have to say. Consider the purpose of a confrontation before jumping into one.

Consider Who You Are Talking to

When you go to confront someone, you need to think about whether that person has any authority over you. A boss, for instance, can fire you for an angry outburst. Thus you may watch your tone and actions with someone like that than you would with a friend, colleague, or similar member of society. Know your place in the conversation and adjust your actions to fit properly.
